Don't Rest Your Head is a roleplaying game by Fred Hicks. It's about insomnia and monsters, and I absolutely adore it. I found it a better place to write fiction in than to run a game in, though.
Wide Awake Jude Storm knows all about the monsters under the bed. He never quite outgrows his childhood fear of those monsters, and it's a good thing, too. One day, they come out from under the bed. part two, part three, part four, part five, part six, part seven, part eight, part nine
Dead Red Pen Jude Storm plays Paperboys against each other.
Down the Rabbitt Whole Chase Rabbitt has been convicted of a murder he didn't commit. In fact, he's certain that the kid isn't even dead. But time runs out on him. When they come, it's not the "they" he expected, and he finds himself plunged into a very strange world where nothing is what it seems. part two, parts three & four, parts five & six, part seven, part eight *nb — part nine has been written but not typed. In the end, I was rather disappointed in this one. I plan to one day go back, cut out the debris and find the real story in there. We'll see how that goes.
Sweet Dreams A Nightmare on the prowl.
